1. The ability of AI to process large amounts of complex data will simplify and accelerate decision-making processes across all levels of command and can serve as a force multiplier for commanders, especially under the emerging requirements of multi-domain warfare.

2. AI can contribute to operations planning support. AI will not only enable commanders to rapidly access and consider a wider range of data than currently available, but will go a step further to provide intelligent and nuanced support, such as terrain analysis and the ability to consider a wide range of planning factors.

3. AI can allow commanders to focus on executing operations rather than managing systems, especially at the tactical level. For example, AI tools that commanders can access and analyze data sets about previous attacks, possible enemy tactics, or communications blackspots can better understand what needs to be considered when planning or executing an operation.
