Classic Israeli Intelligence Operations

1. In the history of modern intelligence, the one that attracted worldwide attention to Israel's intelligence capabilities was probably the first Khrushchev's anti-Stalin report obtained by Mossad agents in 1956. However, in fact, it was not Mossad who actually got the secret report first, but Shin Bet.

The reason is that, on the one hand, Shin Bet was not as famous as Mossad at that time, and everyone habitually gave the halo to the person who seemed to have the most strength.

On the other hand, at the beginning of the founding of Israel, the operating system of the intelligence agency was not perfect, and the authorities believed that it was not appropriate to expose the "young" intelligence agency that had not yet established a complete system.

But in any case, this incident made a breakthrough in the relationship between Mossad and US intelligence agencies, and initially established Mossad's position in the world's intelligence agencies.

2. The process of bringing the Nazi war criminal Eichmann back to Israel in 1961 is astonished. After the end of World War II, Eichmann, the main Nazi Holocaust scavenger, escaped trial and hid in Argentina. As we all know, the crimes committed by the Nazis on the Jews are indelible, so it has become the common expectation of all Jews to bring this "demon" back to Israel for trial.

On May 11, 1960, Mossad agents successfully sneaked into Argentina using false passports and other documents. In order to bring Eichmann back to Israel without alarming the Argentine government, Harrell, the head of Mossad, personally sent a Mossad agent to a local hospital under the guise of a car accident. The patient's condition improved quickly after being hospitalized, and he got a permit signed by the hospital to return to his home country, Israel, to continue treatment. On May 20, the patient was discharged from the hospital, and the patient had become Eichmann, who had been controlled by secret agents. At 8 o'clock that night, Eichmann was injected with a powerful anesthetic, and then was taken to the airport in a special vehicle of the Israeli special plane crew. Twenty-four hours later, he was transferred to Israel without anyone noticing. On December 25, 1961, after the trial, Eichmann was sentenced to death by hanging for the crime of genocide. An important class-A war criminal in the world at that time was brought back to Israel in full view, which made people marvel at the execution of the operation.

3. Due to the complexity of geographical location and the cultural background of history and religion, the confrontation between Arab countries and Israel is becoming increasingly fierce. Due to the confrontation between the capitalist camp and the social camp at that time, when the most advanced MiG aircraft in the Soviet Union was sold to Arab countries, Mossad began to investigate. Mossad sent a beautiful woman agent to successfully instigate an Iraqi ace pilot through seduction, and flew a MiG-21 fighter plane that the Soviet Union aided Iraq to deceive the Soviet adviser, and flew straight to Tel Aviv, where the Mossad headquarters is located. After Israel studied it for a month, it sent the plane to the Pentagon of the United States.

This is also the first MiG-21 fighter obtained by the Western world, which enabled the Western world to master the precise parameters of the Soviet fighter in the development of fighters, and provided great support for the development and layout of the third-generation fighters.
